Bovet 1822 Masterclass in Vietnam: Crafting the "Sweet Art"
Collectors had the unique opportunity to create their own "Miss Audrey Sweet Art" dial under the expert guidance of a Bovet master of miniature painting.
Participants were welcomed by Audrey Raffy, daughter of Pascal Raffy, the owner of Bovet 1822. The event took place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, drawing a total of 50 collectors. At the conclusion of the masterclass, the invited guests were able to take home the watch dials they had created. A BOVET miniature painter began by explaining the intricate process required to craft the sugar-crystal-like material used for the dials.

Following this, the "students" took turns crafting their own individual dials. "It was much more difficult than I had imagined," remarked a female collector in Hanoi.
"The attention to detail is astounding. The material is truly unique, and the finished dials are absolutely beautiful."
Because each dial is crafted entirely by hand, every piece is one-of-a-kind. The dials come in a rich variety of colors—ranging from solid hues to delicate gradients—resulting in a distinctive interplay of texture and luster, a feat never before seen in the long history of watchmaking.
