tenho um sistema onde apresento a imagem e a notícia desta.

Só que eu gostaria de apresentar a imagem no canto esquerdo e que o texto $conteudo contornasse o texto, tipo ao lado direito da imagem e embaixo...

tem como fazer isso com o PHP, eu fiz uma busca aqui no forum, mas não obtive resultado, talvez não tenha identificado o critério da busca...

Isso é feito com CSS (procure por "align", "valign", "text-align"), ou de forma primitiva em 2 colunas com tabelas ....

Não é css o que foi postado, mas já que está aqui na seção, use css. =D

Deixe a imagem na mesma célula que o texto e coloque um float left na imagem.
