Prog, Obrigado pela dica. Ela funcionou certinho na hora de imprimir (echo). No entanto, ele não guarda quando vou armazenar em váriavel. É normal, isto?

Não, a função date() retorna um valor string, sendo assim, era para armazenar o valor normalmente em uma váriavel do PHP. Talvez o problema seja outro.

Mostre o código se necessário.

$data1 = date("d/m/Y",$data->value);

O estranho é que o echo da certo:

$data = $rs->fields("edata");

$data1 = date("$data->value);

segue o código que fica vazio se mostra valor da variavel $data1 com o echo:

$data = $rs->fields("edata");

$data1 = date("d/m/Y",$data->value);

O estranho é que o echo da certo:

$data = $rs->fields("edata");

echo date("d/m/Y",$data->value);

Ola, Pessoal!

Ainda sobre access e php, também estou fazendo uns testes baseado neste topíco.
Ja consegui fazer a conexão php com access e inserir dados em uma tabela, e funciona muito bem. estou agora tentando editar a tabela (update), mas ocorre o seguinte erro, quando eu busco um registro baseado em uma pesquisa "o apache encontrou um erro e sera fechado!" Eis o codigo:

Observem que os valores trazidos do banco de dados podem ser guardados em variaveis e ficam visiveis atraves do "echo", mas quando tento associar o valor a um "text", tipo:

<input type="text" name="id" size="11" value="<?=$id?>">

Neste momento o erro e retornado e o form não abre.

Alguem sabe onde pode estar o erro?

Olá a todos!!! Gostei muito desse esquema de ler BDs .mdb sem usar odbc, e gostaria de saber se seria possível com este método pegar o nome das tabelas e campos, bem como o tipo de dados.

Se alguém souber se é possível e/ou conhecer um link, por favor, poste aqui.
