Eu tenho uma forma mais simplificada basta colocar no evento onde você quer que o explore seja aberto o seguinte comando Shell ("explorer.exe")
Private Sub cmdexplorer_Click()
Dim iret As Long
iret = ShellExecute(Me.hwnd, _
vbNullString, _
"http://forum.wmonline.com.br", _
vbNullString, _

Mas dessa maneira naum tem como vc decidir q site aparecer no navegador. No exemplo q eu mostrei, vai abrir o forum da WM. Olhe:Private Sub cmdexplorer_Click()
