What are your thoughts where there a single MCP in a residential building and E/L on x 2 landings (very common in London for Edwardian/Victorian conversions /HMO type buildings )
Would you argue extending the MCP tests to monthly? Taking into account most weekly tests in resi silence the sounders which is a main reason for the tests (test the circuit from panel to sounders) and the fact there is only x 1 MCP and unmanned building?.
In regards to E/L would having a 3 monthly 1 hour drain down and 3 hour drain down rotated be a compensatory measure not to have the monthly flick test? Again due to only having x 2 units/unmanned building.
Or would you just stick to the BS recommendations?
I think we have had this discussion on here many moons ago but thought I see what peeps views are again.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
