Aproveitando o assunto, alguém conhece uma maneira de mover camadas com o mouse, da mesma forma como se move uma janela de um aplicativo. Um exemplo disso tem em www.google.com.br/ig.

Eu já tentie mil vezes entender o código dessa página, mas não consegui.

Pessoal como vão?!
Peço desculpas se essa pergunta já foi respondida. caso positivo, por favor, me indiquem onde achá-la.

Eu fiz uma animação em flash (expandable banners - daqueles que a altura é X e pode crescer quando clicada) e coloquei numa camada numa página HTML.

A transparência funciona tanto no FF e no IE, o problema é que no FF (Firefox) o texto, botão ou qualquer campo abaixo da camada (com transparência) não pode ser acessado (selecionado, clicado, preenchido e etc). Já mexi no z-index de tudo quanto é jeito e não consigo resolver o problema.

Ps.: Se o z-index da camada for menor que 0 no FF a camada some. (Claro né?!)

Você tem que ir setando via JS a posição a cada X milisegundos.

algo do tipo:
